Prime Minister Wickremesinghe is on a four-day official visit to Australia.

Australian PM Malcolm Turnbull in his address expressed that it was his expectation to strengthen the ties between Sri Lanka and Australia in the fields of economic, education, investments, technical, and energy.

PM Wickremesinghe expressed his gratitude to Australia for the friendly assistance extended towards Sri Lanka. He also openly invited the illegal Sri Lankan migrants currently being kept in migration camps to return to the country.

They also answered questions raised by journalists at the end of the press conference.
