Mr Liqun assured that the bank is ready to provide support in the areas of Infrastructure, roads, railways, ports and city development as loans and grants.
Prime Minister Wickremesinghe while appreciating the support given by AIIB for the country’s development activities said that he looked forward to the maximum support in the future as well.
Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ravinatha Ariyasinghe and Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Athaudahetti also participated.
