Making room for the lawmakers to visit their electorates to organise the rescue missions and to distribute essential items for the victims the Parliament was adjourned yesterday at 11.30am.
With the days debates mostly including the disaster situation in the country, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya adjourned the House requesting all members to be in contact with Minister of Disaster Management Anura Priyadarshana Yapa for the relief programs. (AH)
