Secretary to the President P.B. Abeykoon requested the public to continue donating essential items to the flood victims.
At present, over 100,000 families have been affected by the floods and landslides resulting from heavy rains.
Public are possible to donate drinking water, row food, milk powder, infant milk powder, garments and other essential items to the collecting centres set up at District Secretariats.
Those donations will properly be delivered to the victims under direct supervision of the District Secretaries.
