    ‘Wasa Visa Nethi Ratak’ program will launch on March 06 Featured

    A special discussion on the program ‘Wasa Visa Nethi Ratak’ (A country free of poisonous substances), which is to be implemented in accordance with the election manifesto of the President Maithripala Sirisena to ensure chemical-free farming within the next three years, was held under the patronage of Secretary to the President, P.B. Abeykoon at the Presidential Secretariat, yesterday (16).

     

     

    The program ‘Wasa Visa Nethi Ratak’ will commence on March 06th, 2016 to March 08 from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m. at the BMICH.

     

     

    In parallel a conference will be held under the patronage of the President with the participation of the members of the Agricultural Research Officers Association and over 5000 farming leaders, on March 07.

     

     

    Ven Athuraliye Rathan Thero MP, Ministers Duminda Dissanayake, Dr Sarath Amunugama MP, Minister Mahinda Amraweera, Minister S. B. Dissanayake, Commander of the Army, Commander of the Navy, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Additional Secretary to the President Rohana Dissanayake and high ranking officers of Ministries participated for the initial discussion.
