President Maithripala Sirisena participated in the Cultural Show “One Nation – Great Power” held on Saturday (Jan. 09) in the Independence Square premises in Colombo to mark the one year completion of the democratic governance. The Cultural Show has been organized by the Ministry of Mass Media.
Dancing troupes from various areas of the country presented colorful dancing events in this cultural show. The President sat for photographs with the dancing troupes at this occasion.
Ministers Gayantha Karunathilaka, Rajitha Senarathne, Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Samarasinghe, W. D. J. Senevirathne, Rishad Bathiudeen and the Deputy Minister Karunarathne Paranawithana also participated in this event.
