JVP MP, Sunil Handunnetti joining the committee stage debate in Parliament yesterday said  this experience was never experienced over the years  when the expenditure heads of the president is being delivered. But  President Sirisena has arrived and commented on it and it needs to be appreciated.

MP Handunnetti said this could be considered as a victory due to the revolutionary victory on January 8th whereas the powers of Executive  Presidency is now being vested with the Parliament. He expressed their appreciation to President Maithripala Sirisena for his presence in Parliament during the committee stage debate on 19 votes ncluding the Presidential office, Prime Minister's office and the judges of the Supreme.Court.
