Amendments which were proposed to the Appropriation Bill was passed in Parliament on Thursday (26) with 35 in favour and 3 against.
The amendments were presented to Parliament by State Minister of Finance Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena.
The amendments were passed during the committee stage, howeverduring the third reading MP Jayantha Samaraweera sought a vote.
Accordingly, Amendments to the Appropriation Bill were passed in Parliament with 35 votes in favour and 03 votes against.
