He stated this yesterday (07) at the Parliament answering the question raised by the MP Anura Kumara yesterday (06) under the standard orders 23 (2) on the Kelani river water pollution occured in last August 17 due to the poisonous chemical leak by a famous beverage company.
The department of government analyst is continuing its inspections regarding this issue and the Central Environmental Authority in cooperation with the National water drainage board has made a post inspection plan for the companies situated near the Kelani river, he said.
