This program which was organized by a group of blind children, under the directive of the Health Ministry was held yesterday (Oct. 04) at Kularatne Hall, Ananda Collage, Colombo.

The concert also included a series of song items and stage performances by blind children and this was organized with the aim of providing financial assistance to low income patients requiring eye surgeries.

The Ministry of Health has already organized a Walk and a Bicycle Race in parallel to the World Sight Day 2015 which falls on October 08.

Health Minister Ranjith Senarathne, Ministry officials and artists participated in the event.
