The voter turnout in Kegalle District is reported to have exceeded 35% as at 11 am. the Elecltion Returning Officer/Government Agenct H.M.Gamini Senevirathne said.
Senevirathne further added that as a whole i voting n the Kegalle District is being conducted in a peaceful atmosphere.
6151 candidates are said to be contesting for this years General Election with 228 vying for 10 Parliamentary seats from the Kegalle District.
