    Infrastructure facilities of Colombo Housing Schemes to be developed

    The Government has taken steps to renovate the road network and the drain network of the undermentioned 13 multi storied housing complexes in the city of Colombo in which 1,700 families are residing, at a cost of Rs. 143.29 Million, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Rajitha Senarathna said while addressing the weekly cabinet briefing held at the Government Information Department today (06).

    According to the Minister the multi storied housing complexes are Bolamesawatte Housing Scheme, Veluwanarama Housing Scheme, Elvitigala Housing Scheme, Mallikarama Housing Scheme, Central Road Housing Scheme, Kammalwatte Housing Scheme, Jumma Masjid Housing Scheme, Dissanayake Watte Housing Scheme, Aluth Mawatha Housing Scheme, Dias Place Housing Scheme, Bloemendhal Housing Scheme, St. James Street Housing Scheme, Aluthkade Housing Scheme.

     

    The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for the above the Minister added.
