Apart from the heads of Diplomatic Mission, the Head of the Branch Secretariat, Ministry of External Affairs, Chennai, Foreigners Regional Registration Officer, Chennai and Head of the Field office – Chennai, UNHCR were also invited for the event.

Deputy High Commissioner welcomed invitees and thanked them for their participation despite adverse weather conditions prevailing in Chennai. He further stated that it was an opportunity for the invitees to experince Sri Lankan culture and cuisine. A cocktail followed by a dinner with Sri Lankan delicacies was served at the event.
