Medical face masks and KN 95 face masks are manufactured at this factory and these are locally made. These products are manufactured with the utilization of local entrepreneurship,labour contributions, and Chinese technology.

The State Minister appreciated the efforts taken to locally manufacture face masks and also said, if the factory manufactures N 95 face masks for future medical purposes, it will be in great demand from local hospitals.

Prof. Jayasumana further affirmed that the demand for face masks will be increased in the future and these locally manufacturing face masks will gain more demand thus promoting the local manufacturers.

Dr. Uthpala Indrawansa, Chairman of the State Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Saman Fernando, Chairman of SENSETRONICS PVT LTD, and many other officials were also present at the occasion.
