Schools in the Western province start today for grades 5, 11, and 13.
The Minister of Education, Prof. G.L Peiris stated that recommendations regarding the opening of schools in the Western Province were received recently by the Health Ministry.
In addition, the schools will be reopened on the 19th of April for all other grades after the April vacation following the health guidelines issued by the Health Ministry.
