Minister of Energy Udaya Gammanpila stated that the government has not yet taken any decision to increase gas prices.
The Minister said this at the Cabinet decision media briefing held today (09) at the Department of Government Information.
Minister Gammanpila further added that a request has been made by several gas companies to increase the price of gas. However, the Ministry of Energy or the Ministry of Trade have not taken any decision in this regard.
