The Defence Advisor at Bangladesh High Commission in Sri Lanka, Commodore Md Shafiul Bari paid a courtesy call on Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne at the Navy Headquarters, (13th January 2021).
As this turned out to be the first official interaction between them, after Commodore Md Shafiul Bari assuming office in Colombo, Commander of the Navy took opportunity to
extend best wishes to the incumbent Defence Advisor. Moreover, the ensuing discussion focused on long-standing relations between the two navies as well as several matters of
bilateral importance.
The cordial discussion drew to a close with an exchange of mementos, signifying the importance of this event.
