Army troops carried out a disinfection and sterilization campaign in the public places in Udayarkattu, and Pudukudiyiruppu areas in order to mitigate risks of contamination during the spread of COVID - 19 threat.
Mullattivu-based 68 Division troops of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ-MLT) involved in the campaign on Friday (30) following the directions of Commander SFHQ-MLT Maj. Gen. Jagath Rathnayake and General Officer Commanding, 68 Division Maj. Gen. Upali Rajapaksha.
Members of the Public Health Inspectors of respective areas supported the troops in the disinfection project.
