63 more individuals from the Punani, Quarantine Centre (QC) in keeping with the practice left for their homes yesterday morning (19) after completion of the three-week-long quarantine process, medical procedures and receipt of their Quarantine Certificates.
The Army transport provided passage to them, segregated according to their residential areas. They were provided Army transport facilities tp their destinations in Matale and Akurana. In addition, troops supplied them with snacks, water and lunch packets on their way with special focus on food varieties for infants and kids.
The Commanding Officer at the QC, Officers and Other Ranks were there to see them off upon successful completion of their quarantine process.
