Therefore, the Sri Lanka Police has decided issue Police Clearance Certificates only via online service as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).

Issuing a media statement, the police media division also stated that the offices set up to accept the applications for Police Clearance Certificates will be closed for two weeks.

Accordingly, Police Clearance Certificates will be issued via online service, the Police said.
