The first Sri Lankan to have contracted the Coronavirus has been reported in the country.
It has been confirmed that the 52-year-old tour guide who had worked with a group of Italians has contracted the Covid-19 virus and is currently being treated at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Angoda.
The first detected Coronavirus patient was a Chinese female and she left the country earlier after making a full recovery.
