The Russian Navy Ships ‘Yaroslav Mudry’ and ‘Victor Konetsky’ which arrived in Sri Lanka on 04th March 2020 on a goodwill visit, departed the Colombo harbour on successful completion of their tour events. Sri Lanka Navy bade farewell to the departing ships in accordance with naval traditions.
The crew of two ships who were on a 3 day visit to Sri Lanka, participated in several events including cultural programmes organized by Sri Lanka Navy and they toured to visit some places of attraction during their stay in the island. These organized events were commended by the crew of the two Russian ships.
Further, this goodwill visit paved the way for exchanging the knowledge and experiences of both countries.
