Four Chinese power sets for the Aruwakkalu Sanitary Landfill Project were delivered at Colombo Harbour this morning.They were unloaded and kept at the Railway Department until constructions at the Kelaniya Transmission Station are complete, Western Region Solid Waste Management Project Director and Engineer Sarath Bandara said.Hesaid that the cost of four power sets imported from China was USD 8.8 million excluding the taxes, and that the cost was borne by the Government.
