Parliament has been prorogued with effect from last night and the relevant Gazette notification has been sent to Government Printer.The Gazette notification comprising the President’s proclamation proroguing Parliament was issued by Secretary to the President Dr. P.B.Jayasundera. Accordingly, Parliament will convene on January 3, 2020 at 10 a.m.
