The Polonnaruwa Poson Maha Bath Dansala, organised annually by the Polonnaruwa Buddhist Association was held for the 59th occasion for two days near the Polonnaruwa Parakrama Samudraya was opened for pilgrims by President Maithripala Sirisena, who is the Chairman of the Polonnaruwa Buddhist Association yesterday. The Dansala is organised annually under the guidance of President Sirisena serves thousands of devotees who visit Polonnaruwa to worship ancient places of cultural importance.
