A two-day educational seminar was organized by the Sri Lanka Army troops in the East on 17 and 18 (July). According to Army media, the seminar had been organized for the students sitting for the G.C.E A/L exam in August this year.
The seminar was conducted at Al- Hidaya Maha Vidyalaya in Mutur with the cooperation of the local Zonal Education Office. More than 185 students from 6 schools studying in Commerce and Arts streams were benefitted by this seminar.
The students attending the seminar were provided with transport facilities and refreshments by the troops.Such educational seminars are regularly organized by the Army with a view to uplift the educational standards of the students in the region
