Newly appointed 191 Labour Officers of the Department of Labour received their letters of appointment from President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday (1st Dec.).
The ceremony to present the letters of appointment was held at BMICH and was participated by the Minister of Labour, Trade Union Relations and Sabaragamuwa Development W.D.J. Seneviratne, Secretary to the Ministry S.A.N. Saranatissa, and the Commissioner General of Labour A. Wimalaweera.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
