Accordingly, children below 12 years, elders over 60 years and all students in school uniform visiting the Dehiwela and Pinnawala National Zoos, and Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage can visit for free.

     
She said that the special program at the Dehiwela zoo will commence today at 1.30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the Department of Botanical Gardens too will not charge a fee from children below 18 years, who visit the Peradeniya, Haggala, and Gampaha Gardens as well as the Dry botanical garden in Mirijjawila, Hambantota and the wet botanical garden at Seethawaka in Avissawella.
