Chairman of SLRC Ravi Jayawardhane was elected as the Chairman of the Guild, Laksiri Wickramage from Derana Broadcast Network as the Secretary, Asanka Jayasuriya from Neth FM as the Deputy Chairman, Sudarashana Gunawardhane from SLBC as the Deputy Secretary, Nuwan Liyanage from Neth FM as the Convener, Shanil Mendis from V FM as the Treasurer while the pioneer of Sri Lanka’s broadcasting Shan Wickremesinghe was appointed as the patron of the Guild. Heads from EAP Broadcasting Ltd, ITN, Hiru, and VIS Media Network were elected as Committee Members.

Director General of Government Information Dr. Ranga Kalansooriya was also present on this occasion.
