An online database ‘SLJI NET’, which provides access to judges from anywhere in the world and study anything related to law was introduced on 11th August.
The function was held under the patronage of Minister Justice and Buddhasasana Wijayadasa Rajapaksa and Chief Justice Priyasath Dep at Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute.
The second memorial oration of late Justice J.F.A. Soza was delivered by Presidents Counsel K. Kang Isvaran.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
News.lk publishes in three languages – Sinhala, Tamil and English.
