It was organized by the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR) together with the London School of Economics, University of York, Australian National University, Gadjah Mada University and the BCIS.
Local and Foreign scholars, political leaders, and social activists participated in the seminar.
Addressing the event, Chairperson of ONUR, Former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga said the present government gives a prominent place to the reconciliation and the development in the country.
She further reiterated that the government including the President and the Prime Minister is dedicated for that.
