University Students who forcibly entered the Health Ministry during a protest march this week, have damaged property as well as vehicles worth over millions of rupees, said Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratna.
He made these comments at a press conference held at the Department of Government Information.
He said that over 4,000 students were engaged in this act and behind them was a political cat’s paw. Minister Senaratna said that in the future legal action will be taken for damaging state property after scrutinizing CCTV footages.
