A fire brigade truck worth Rs 45 million and a high tech ambulance worth Rs 35 million were gifted to the Sri Lanka Air Force by the Japan Sri Lanka Friendship Foundation on the request of Matara District UNP MP Buddhika Pathirana.
It was officially handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena at the President’s official residence yesterday (19th June).
Chairman of Japan Sri Lanka Friendship Foundation Dr. Lal Thillekeratna and Mrs. ErangaThillekeratna handed over the documents to President Sirisena.
