Participating at the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Port and Shipping Nishantha Muthuhettigama, and the Chairman of Sri Lanka Port Authority Dhammika Ranathunghe.

Addressing the occasion, the minister said that the Port Authority began extending its support for the development of tourism in the country from Devinuwara and it is the duty of the pubic to efficiently utilize the resources prevailing in the country.
