Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Yun Byung-se will arrive on 15th March for an official visit to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Korea.
Minister Yun is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with Foreign Minister Mangala Samaraweera on 15th March.
This is the first visit to Sri Lanka in 31 years by a Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. The last such visit took place in 1986, when Foreign Minister Lee Won-kyung undertook an official visit to Sri Lanka.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
