The newly appointed Defence Attaché of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Sri Lanka, Senior Colonel Xu Jianwei paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy, Vice Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne at the Naval Headquarters yesterday (4th January).
During the meeting, they held cordial discussions on matters of mutual interest and bilateral importance.
The outgoing Chinese Defence Attaché, Senior Colonel Li Chenglin and Deputy Defence Attaché Lieutenant Colonel Chang were also present on this occasion. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this event.
