Inauguration of the national program to re-color the yellow passenger crossing as white crossings was held this morning under the patronage of the Minister of Parliamentary Reforms and Mass Media Gayantha Karunathilake in Colombo.
It will be implemented as a part of the ‘Parissamin Gihin Enna’ road safety program sponsored by the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.
The program will be assisted by the Colombo Municipal Council, Road Development Authority, Urban Development Authority, National Council for Road Safety, and Sri Lanka Police.
Chairman of SLRC Ravi Jayawardhane was also participated.
