Making a goodwill visit the Indian Coastguard Ship 'Samudra Paheredar' arrived in Colombo on Monday (10th Sept.).
Sri Lanka Navy accorded the visiting Indian ship a ceremonial welcome in keeping with naval customs.
The ship is on a two day official visit to the island and its crew is scheduled to take part in a number of programs organized by the Navy and Coastguard during its stay here.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
