Local Government poll will further be delayed until the delimitation process coming to an end.
Minister of Provincial Council and Local Government Faiszer Musthapha yesterday (1st July) addressing a press briefing at the Ministry premises pointed out the possibility to hold the election before the next Sinhala and Hindu New Yeart.
He speaking about the 23 local government institutions, finished their tenure from last 30th June said, “Their proceeding will not allow to be disrupted.”
