April 26, 2023Ensuring the safety and security of Sri Lankans stranded in the Republic of the Sudan is the primary concern of the Government of Sri Lanka.
On 24th April, Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Prime Minister, H. E. Mr. Mizukoshi Hideaki, Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka and Ms. Azusa Kubota, Resident Representative, UNDP Sri Lanka, launched the 2 new livelihood projects that address the economic crisis in Sri Lanka at Temple Trees.
Cash donation to President’s Fund
April 24, 2023The Founder and Chairman of the Kinkusala Gaveshi Association, retired Regional Director of Education Mr. Sarath Senanayake donated Rs. 2 million to the President’s Fund during an event held today (24). The donation came from Mr. Senanayake’s earnings from his writings and lectures.
“Wasath Siriya – 2023” Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival, was held yesterday (22) at the Shangri-La Green premises in Colombo in a grand manner with the participation of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
