Sri Lanka Cricket announced that Mahela Jayawardena a former Captain of the Sri Lankan Cricket Team has stated that he would retire from Test Cricket after the forthcoming test series against South Africa and Pakistan.(KH/SI)
The Central Bank in its Monetary Policy Review for July 2014 says that the low inflation environment has continued, with year-on-year inflation remaining benign in June 2014 recording its lowest level since February 2012, while the annual average inflation has trended downwards.
