The Met Dept. says that the possibility for increase in rain in the southwestern parts is still high.
Also showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces. Thundershowers will develop at several places elsewhere after 2.00 p.m., the Met Dept. adds. Temporary localized strong winds expected during thundershowers.
