The Government of  Sri Lanka  with the concurrence of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has decided to appoint  K.W.N.D. Karunaratne as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in succession to  H.R. Piyasiri, a press release issued by the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Colombo said.
