The Export Development Board (EDB), Sri Lanka's apex export facilitator, clinched a global talent award and has emerged as a pioneer Lankan public institution to win the accolade.
"The EDB won the Most Sought After Employer award at the Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards 2015. We won this award having competed with 33 countries," said Chairman and CEO Bandula Egodage.
Asia's Best Employer Brand Awards, hosted by the Employer Branding Institute, World HRD Congress and Stars of the Industry Group, is endorsed by the Asian Confederation of Businesses.
The Government official news portal is maintains by the New Media Unit of the Department of Government Information and it was titled "news.lk" and commenced in mid1996 and release to Internet from March 01st, 1997.
