Prevailing South-west monsoonal windy condition is expected to be reduced and hence possibility for evening thundershowers over the country will increase.
There will be light showers at several places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts. Thundershowers will develop at several places in the Central, Uva, North-central and Eastern provinces during the period from 2 pm to 8 pm.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
