    Brighter Life Foundation donate surgical beds worth Rs.42 million Featured

    The "Brighter Life" Foundation in Switzerland donated beds worth 42 million rupees for
    ​the use of ​
    Intensive Care Units in Sri Lankan hospitals.
    The Foundation donated on Wednesday (08)
    ​, ​
    72 surgical beds and normal beds worth 42 million rupees for Sri Lankan hospitals.
     
    The President of Brighter Life Foundation, Rudolf Albert Gauhl symbolically handed over the donations
    ​to
     the Health Ministry.  The Brighter Life Foundation has taken measures to handover the 72 beds to the Medical Supplies Unit's Wellawatte stores.
     
    Speaking during the occasion, Rudolf Albert Gauhl expressed his pleasure to make such a donation to strengthen
    ​ the ​
    healtth service of a developing country like Sri Lanka.  He also assured the foundation's assistance for the advancement of Sri Lanka's health services
    ​, in the future too.​
     
    The Health Ministry
    ​said that these beds will be distributed among
     underdeveloped hospitals that run with minimum physical resources.
