Several spells of showers will occur in the sea area off the coast extending from Puttalam to Matara via Colombo and Galle.
Winds will be South-westerly and speed will be 30-40 kmph.
The sea area extending from Galle to Pottuvil via Hambantota will be rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 60 kmph at times. The other sea areas around the island will be fairly rough at times as the winds can strengthen up to 50 kmph at times, the Met Dept. forecasts.
