It has been found that many estate workers in the Nuwara Eliya District are encountering serious issues due to the lack of drinking water. Despite living in the cold climatic conditions, they do not receive clean water to fulfill their needs.  This has created serious health issues among the estate workers.  

 

 

The Ministry of Estate Infrastructure considering this situation at a meeting held recently Dickoya under the auspices of Secretary to the Ministry has planned to supply drinking water to 30 estates under the first stage of the project.
