The Minister said that by implementing this new billing method, Electricity Board will be able to achieve their goal of fulfilling the total electricity demand of Sri Lanka. He was addressing a function held at the Women Graduates Association Hall in Borella.

Speaking further, the Minister pointed out that financially the Electricity Board has reached an independent status.
