Southern Provincial Council Minister DV Upul has been remanded till June 10 by the Colombo Magistrate, following his arrest by the Criminal Investigations Department
The United People’s Freedom Alliance Provincial Minister was arrested after questioning him for over 8 hours .over a controversial statement made by him recently during an event held in Tissamaharama, pertaining to the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division.
